The Agora is built right next to the harbour in order to facilitate trade. According to very recent findings, this building was 80m wide with a length of 300m. It is considered to be one of the largest of Agoras in the ancient world. It is estimated that the first construction of the Agora was between the 4th and 3rd B.C.
